K.B. SHARP
K.B. Sharp is one of the WNBA's best point guards. She has the rare quality of size and athleticism. At 5' 9" she is one of the taller point guards in the WNBA. Every year she ranks in the top of the WNBA with her assist to turnover ratio. She is entering her 4th year in the league. K.B. is a great defensive player, who values her team and teammates as noted by her emphasis on assists in the game. In 2003 K.B. was chosen to play for the WNBA Select team that won a silver medal in the 2003 FIBA Women's World Cup in Samara, Russia.
During her college career at the University of Cincinnati, K.B earned the Most Outstanding Player award for three straight years. She is the Bearcats' all-time leader in assists (623), games played (126) and minutes played (4,339). K.B. also earned First Team All-Conference USA honors. She finished her collegiate career as one of 15 women in Division I history to tally over 1,000 career points, 600 assists and 450 rebounds.
At Bexley High School in Ohio she was named Honorable Mention All-America by USA Today, and was the state player of the year.
