Armintie Price is from Myrtle, Mississippi where she attended Myrtle High School. In her senior year she was named to the Clarion-Ledger’s Dandy Dozen, an honor given to Mississippi’s top twelve basketball players. Armintie averaged 31 points, 22 rebounds, 6 assists, and 5 steals as a high school senior.

In her collegiate senior season as an Ole Miss Rebel, Armintie averaged 18.1 points (2nd in the SEC), and 3.8 steals per game (1st in the SEC). Armintie was named the 2007 SEC Defensive Player of the Year and the 2007 All-SEC First Team which is voted on by coaches. She finished her collegiate career with over 2,000 points, 1,000 rebounds, 300 steals, and 300 assists.

Armintie was drafted by the Chicago Sky in the 2007 WNBA. She is one of only 2 Ole Miss players to ever be drafted in the WNBA. Armintie was also named the 2007 Rookie of the Year.
